How can I prevent Mildew on getting my daughters Bad time rubber duckies?

My daughter loves that bad, but I try really hard when she comes out of the tub to get all the water from her water toys, like her rubber ducks, water-boats, and what not. one way or another but after a while her rubber ducks always seem get moldy inside. is there a safe way to clean this? or to prevent this happening? thanks!

This is a great question! I would think that filling the sink with water and bleach and squeeze toys to fill it could work. Then bleach would get there. After it sat a few minutes then rinse and squeeze to get filled with clean water.
