Is E-10 ethanol gas seals deteriorate any faster in a car engine than a motor boat?

I set my boat and car storage for the next 8 months. I buy ethanol free gas for my boat 5 liter engine, but I can only buy E-10 gas at the pump for my car. I've heard E-10 does not affect a car engine, the deterioration rubber gasket or seal components but I hear it eats at the gaskets and seals in a marine engine. What is the truth?
