How hard is it to add a Yakima or other marks on the cabinet LEER cap for spare parts?
I bought 92 Dodge Dakota last year, which LEER limit on it. I want to add a rack on top of the ceiling to haul a kayak or bike. Does anyone have any luck, or problems I should know? Warranty is long gone away.
Its not a big problem not do because we installed stands on many types of caps and shells. Approximately 90 percent of them will support 500 pounds, so make sure you exceed. measurements, where drill holes and install the rack system, the only thing I would recommend is that if inside the brackets support the roof are not large enough, or do not come with them, then just set or buy some socks in every hardware store metal plus do not forget all the silicone ......
