Different ways to connect to the kayak on top of car travel?
We have Toyota Tacoma topper and want to join our kayak on top without stand or rails. Does anyone have any ideas on how to connect it there with straps / Bungie cords with something between the car and kayak (rails would usually there)
You can use some foam padding to kayak scratching paint job and bind them down with rope and "s" hooks. Just make sure you know how to tie a knot! I would recommend the use of "trucker the glitch. "Tie a ribbon at the top from side to side windows windows (they sell brackets that clip to the window). then tie the rope from the bumper to the point of a kayak and back to the bumper to the triangle. The fact that on both ends. Make sure that it is tightly bound! You should be able to rock car a little push kayaking.
