Inflatable boat / kayak for fishing question?

I will be using this boat / kayak for fishing and I wondered if I should take test for boating, to actually use without breaking the law. If i didn't what if I added a little trolling motor? And what can I use in water? I live in New Jersey

You should not need a license to canoe, kayak, or inflatable boat. Boat registrations varies from country to country. In New Jersey, non-motorized inflatable may not be registered. I'm not sure that adds a little electric trolling motor would mean you need to register. Contact New Jersey DMV check. You should be able to use the ship most bodies of water, provided that you start to find a legal spot. Most spots start on public land, are governed by a city, county, or state agencies such as parks and recreation department, so that each market site will have their own rules and where fees.
