Where is the best place on Oahu to surf lessons?

I have never surfed before, but for some kayak surfing. I will to Oahu for the week of December and would like 1 or 2 surf lessons. Any recommendations?

Yeah, the beach Waikiki (Queens) if you go to hotels there (Royal Hawaiian, Outrigger) they offer surf lessons, but you would prob get a better rate at the surf shop. Do not try the north coast, but you should at least check. Statue .. Duke's (I think)
