NYC to Columbus?

My parents are kind of between jobs …. and we need to go to Columbus, Ohio from NYC ……. i won Local Spelling Bee competition and are hosting in Columbus …. but check all the years + hotel + car packages and all together everything is more than $ 1200 !!!!!!!!! We can not afford it? I checked Expedia, Travelocity (cheap but bad hotels .. ugh), Orbitz, Kayak, delta ….. nothing! I need a website were u can definitely get 4 tickets (2 adults, 2 children), affordable, but not ugly cheap hotel, and the economy car (which is usually including prices …)

Tickets are running the 123.00 round trip Columbus flying delta. I ordered several. Check it out. Try to find a hotel in Delaware Ohio. It's close, but cheaper
