Catalina Island question ….?

Has anyone heard of Seaport Village Inn … From their website seems to have very reasonable prices (ie including boat fare from the mainland). Also, my friend and I would borrow kayaks, while we are there .. we are still discussing the lease agreement between a double kayak or two single kayaks … What is the cheepest place on the island, to rent them? What are the best coves for snorkeling (except lovers Bay)? Rent snorkeling equipment No problem, we have everything we need … Also, fishing is allowed from shore / pier on the island? Thank you very much.
