I am sick and tired of the overpayment, regardless of where I go in the world. There?
the only place on earth, where 1 dollar is really long way? All my life I have heard stories of places in the world where you can buy a gourmet meal for $ 5. But no matter what country I visit, or how bad they are, STILL end up spending what I spent in the U.S. I AM SICK OF IT. I would like KING I deplane in some of these countries. I am going to Honduras for 2 weeks and I've seen prices that are unpleasant HELL outside me ($ 30 to rent kayak, $ 250 for diving lessons, etc.) It's not that the tourists, where I'm going!
I agree with the asker. The average wage in some of these countries is 1 / 4 of our salary in America, but have the audacity to charge 2 times what they were doing in day kayak hire. Hm ..... I do not think, my friend. If you make $ 20 the day, then it should be charged a $ 5 to rent kayak, not $ 30 or $ 40. This is just disgusting. It's like accusing someone in the U.S. $ 200 to rent a kayak. And, Neil, I be the one to answer your question, how much diving in Honduras should cost --- $ 30 per day. Which is in proportion to their salaries. Local fee should in proportion to their salary, not mine.
