Boat trailer repairs for a 14 foot inflatable?
The wheel bolts are corroded like the lug nuts. We were able to remove the nuts with great difficulty to remove the tire them down. Now is not the lug nuts will go. I heard about this thing called a "thread chaser" or a "tap and die". But how is anyone supposed to determine real something like this? It has been in seawater for.
Do not bother for $ 20 U.S. dollars to purchase the complete hub bearings and bolts nuts> Replace everything> It is a unit> The other bolts in the road trying to turn the die> And getting the bolts out of your acetylene torch and a slug hammer> to much work> Replace them>
