What is the best way to patch a hole in an inflatable boat?

As I'm planning a trip to an underground canal basin – an adventure that will surely one shipshape smoothly, I have my rubber dinghy in the garage. On pumping it to the test however, I discovered that it has two small holes. I've tried to seal them with tape, but peeling so I stayed glued to him. I am not sure whether it remain closed, but that seemed to work better. However, I am not too optimistic, and as the boat fell through the morning I will have to try an alternative method of patching it. What would you recommend? I must be sure that it will remain sealed because I'm not too fond of the idea of swimming in the murky brown water channel. Thank you for your help. This is the boat I mean. I used real inflatable Boats …. Avon and Zodiacs …….. for a living. I ended up selling ROTFLMAO when I saw your picture. In business we called those things pool toys. There is no way I know to restore the basic material is just too thin and weak and subject to punctures …. as in a cave. go buy a real boat or prepare to swim a lot …
