How can a boat dock float be replaced while still in the water?

I have a large boat dock with styrofoam floats that floats in a lake. My more to require Styrofoam floats are replaced by the encapsulated floats. Has anyone ever done or was this done? If so, how is it done? The bank is very steep and deep, so the basis of demand from the dock. I imagaine that has a barge or dock to the corner to corner or a kind of inflatable lift device can be placed and inflated to raise the sufficient to slip the old float and slip into the new.

Well before you ready for your bank account when you first install the float empty, it was okay to use that kind of floatation? If yes, and it is not ilegal to use Styrofoam in your state, you can check the historical rights to drift just the way it is keeping. You can get a legal opinion of a local lawyer just to cover yourself, but I do not think they have a leg to stand on, unless you just want to be nice ..... What is their reasoning for you to change? As you still have to face this issue, then there is a number of other options to work with at that moment, but I would not have to worry until you have determined that you 'have' to change.
