trolling motor question?
I am planning on getting a 5-person inflatable boat and put a trolling motor on the back. What size trolling motor do I need to be able to get this thing moving, and how much time you can from a battery? Ha Ha Ha ... Better check closer ... I hope you know how to swim. You first check Mfgr's specs on the capacity in persons / lbs ... I doubt or you could carry 5 adults in that boat .. Remember required safety equioment! Mfgr's specs must state limits horsepower boat. . This size of the engine provides. Next: another important matter (pun intended) a fairly deep discharge marine battery lbs.Good at least 45 more hours than you could stand sitting in that boat.
