I can canoe down the Mississippi River?
Hi, I'm 16 years old and I'm wondering if it is possible to either raft or canoe after all the way down the Mississippi River. I am wondering because I plan to do when I finish high school. Mine the main question of the way, is whether there are dams or barriers that could lead me before the river, and if there as if they are passable. I would also like to know of any other general information about this kind of way, things like what the weather could be as well as in different places, places on the river that one can get the minimum, if necessary, and everything else what it can offer, or would like to know. I appreciate it, and the more information the better! Thanks!
Certainly you. Sounds like a great project. I'm sure there are some dams and locks, depending on where you start from, and I do not know if you can take a canoe along the side of a large cargo ship (or want), but with a canoe, you can easily portage.
