Where is the best place to float on the Meramec River?
My family and I are camping at Meramec State Park in Missouri at the end of June and plan to take float trip. Where is the best access point that in our canoes and rafts, and in which best place at the end of our swim? We would like about five or six hours float.
Sappington Bridge to the park is a popular floating. May be short hand for you. Will depend on the flow and how many traps. The link below will figure your own. It shows the river for miles. It also has some recommendations.
